On Monday, 5 April 2021, in the evening at 18:50, in Telšių district municipality, on Ragainės street near No. 14, a BMW 5ER Reihe ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
