On Tuesday, 6 April 2021, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Šiaurės pr. near No. 17, a Citroen hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.18‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
