On Wednesday, 7 April 2021, in the evening at around 20:00, in Klaipėda, on Strėvos street near No. 6, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 307, a Toyota RAV4 and a Peugeot Expert. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Peugeot 307 (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.63‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
