On Thursday, 22 April 2021, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr. near No. 82A, a Fiat Ducato hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person died — a 69-year-old pedestrian. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Fiat (3 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
