On Friday, 30 April 2021, in the evening at 17:30, in Kauno district municipality, Biruliškių village, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MAN and a Scania. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the MAN (18 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
