On Monday, 3 May 2021, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Joniškio district municipality, on the Bariūnai–Bučiūnai–Pašvitinys–Linkuva regional road (kilometre 0.94), a collision with barriers occurred. The collision involved a DAF FA 85CF.340 and a Kögel YWE18. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the DAF (26 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
