On Monday, 3 May 2021, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 214, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Citroen C4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
