On Saturday, 15 May 2021, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 94.73), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xsara Picasso, a vehicle and an Audi A8. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Citroen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
