On Sunday, 30 May 2021, in the evening at 20:23, in Šilutės district municipality, Šėrių village, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 168.50), an Audi ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Audi (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.72‰ blood alcohol).
