On Tuesday, 8 June 2021, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kauno city municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 0.13), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3, an Opel Insignia and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Saab (29 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
