On Tuesday, 8 June 2021, in the morning at around 9:00, in Rokiškio district municipality, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and a Renault Master registered in Great Britain. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
