On Wednesday, 16 June 2021, in the evening at 17:19, in Kaunas, on Stoties street near No. 7, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the BMW. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
