On Friday, 18 June 2021, at night at 23:30, in Šilalės district municipality, Mikūlių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 243.10), a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW (8 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
