On Sunday, 20 June 2021, in the morning at around 5:00, in Rokiškio district municipality, Steponių village, on Sodų street, an Audi A4 Avant rolled over. One person was injured — a 28-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Audi (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.67‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. A 28-year-old passenger of the Audi was drunk. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
