On Monday, 21 June 2021, in the afternoon at 14:45, in Kretingos district municipality, Juodupėnų village, on Erlos street, a car hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of a car, who failed to choose a safe speed. He evaded sobriety testing, had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
