On Tuesday, 29 June 2021, in the evening at 21:40, in Klaipėda, on Liepų street near No. 64, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a moped and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of a moped (4 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.36‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
