On Wednesday, 30 June 2021, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Anykščių district municipality, Bikūnų village, on Bikūnų street, a Renault Laguna ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.67‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
