On Sunday, 4 July 2021, in the evening at 18:50, in Kauno district municipality, Babtų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 115.10), a traffic accident occurred. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the MAN (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (2.63‰ blood alcohol).
