On Saturday, 3 July 2021, in the afternoon at 12:45, in Alytaus district municipality, Žaunieriškių village, on Nemuno street, a Renault Espace rolled over. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Renault (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
