On Tuesday, 6 July 2021, in the evening at 22:35, in Prienų district municipality, Kašonių village, on Ežero street, at the junction with Plento street, an Opel Vivaro ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Opel (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. A 31-year-old passenger of the Opel was drunk (1.35‰). A 29-year-old passenger of the Opel was drunk (2.31‰).
