On Sunday, 18 July 2021, in the afternoon at 15:10, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, on the Virbalis–Vištytis regional road (kilometre 16.85), a BMW rolled over. Two people were injured — the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (hospitalized) and a 37-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
