On Friday, 13 August 2021, in the evening at 21:27, in Šiaulių district municipality, Šakynos town, on Medžiotojų street near No. 7, a Jeep Grand Cherokee hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Jeep, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
