On Saturday, 14 August 2021, in the evening at 19:21, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Troškūnai–Sudergis–Subačius regional road (kilometre 6.10), a Ford Galaxy ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.30‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
