On Tuesday, 17 August 2021, in the evening at 19:53, in Trakų district municipality, on the Šklėriai–Aluona I regional road (kilometre 1.12), a BMW 330D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the BMW (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
