On Saturday, 21 August 2021, in the evening at 22:10, in Rietavo municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 255), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Temsa (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
