On Friday, 3 September 2021, in the evening at 22:11, in Vilnius, on Užusienio street near No. 100, a Renault Megane hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.34‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
