On Sunday, 5 September 2021, at night at around 3:00, in Trakų district municipality, on the Rūdiškės–Bukieriškės regional road (kilometre 1.55), a BMW 535 D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.90‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
