On Tuesday, 7 September 2021, in the evening at 21:05, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 83), a Saab 9-3 hit an animal. One person died — the 30-year-old driver of the Saab (later died from the injuries). One person was injured — a 26-year-old passenger of the Saab (treated as an outpatient). The driver was sober.
