On Friday, 10 September 2021, in the morning at 8:30, in Kaunas, on Raudondvario pl., at the junction with Jovarų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Iveco and a Volkswagen Passat Variant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Iveco (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
