On Wednesday, 15 September 2021, at night at 2:13, in Rietavo municipality, on the Mažeikiai–Plungė–Tauragė national road (kilometre 72.08), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Doblo and an Opel Astra.
