On Thursday, 23 September 2021, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Joniškio district municipality, Daukšių village, on Vingio street near No. 1, a Claas Axion 850 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Claas (26 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
