On Thursday, 30 September 2021, in the morning at 7:43, in Telšių district municipality, Gintalų village, on Šauklių street near No. 9, a Chrysler Voyager hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Chrysler, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.92‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
