On Sunday, 17 October 2021, at night at 3:29, in Skuodo district municipality, on the Ylakiai–Raudoniai–Barstyčiai regional road (kilometre 3.70), an Opel Vectra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Opel (11 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.10‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
