On Sunday, 24 October 2021, in the morning at around 8:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, Aukštelkės village, on Poilsio street near No. 1, in a yard, a Mazda 6 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
