On Sunday, 24 October 2021, in the evening at 21:05, in Pakruojo district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Pakruojis–Pasvalys national road (kilometre 38.20), a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a car and a Volkswagen Caravelle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of a car (11 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
