On Monday, 29 November 2021, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Ignalinos district municipality, on the Vilnius-Švenčionys-Zarasai national road (kilometre 118.49), a Renault Megane Scenic rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 73-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
