On Saturday, 4 December 2021, in the evening at around 19:00, in Pakruojo district municipality, Šukionių village, on Jono Noreikos street near No. 26, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a BMW 5er Reihe hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.71‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered.
