On Thursday, 23 December 2021, in the evening at 19:25, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 54.05), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
