On Friday, 24 December 2021, at night at 1:22, in Alytaus district municipality, Rimėnų village, on Vytauto street, at the junction with Beržų street, a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations.
