On Wednesday, 19 January 2022, at night at 0:01, in Utenos district municipality, on the Utena–Kaltanėnai–Švenčionys national road (kilometre 22.20), an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed.
