Driver flees after hitting a pedestrian at a crossing at Pylimo g. and Gėlių g., Vilnius

On Friday, 21 January 2022, in the morning at 7:45, in Vilnius, on Pylimo street, at the junction with Gėlių street, a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 18-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
