On Sunday, 30 January 2022, in the evening at 18:36, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 107.77), a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 313 CDI registered in Ukraine hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
