On Sunday, 6 February 2022, in the afternoon at 14:20, in Rietavo municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 250), an Audi A3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
