On Wednesday, 16 February 2022, in the evening at 20:30, in Anykščių district municipality, on J. Biliūno street near No. 72, an Opel Zafira hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Opel (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.29‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
