On Friday, 18 February 2022, in the morning at around 7:00, in Klaipėda, on Marių street near No. 15, a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.13‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
