On Saturday, 19 February 2022, in the afternoon at 11:25, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 18), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz C 200 CDI and a Seat Leon. Two people were injured — a 46-year-old passenger of the Seat (treated as an outpatient) and a 77-year-old passenger of the Mercedes-Benz (treated as an outpatient). Both drivers were sober.
