On Wednesday, 2 March 2022, at night at 4:06, in Biržų district municipality, on the Biržai–Užušiliai–Latveliai regional road (kilometre 8.20), an Audi A4 registered in Norway rolled over. One person died — a 26-year-old passenger of the Audi (was not wearing a seatbelt). One person was injured — the 38-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
