On Tuesday, 22 March 2022, in the afternoon at 13:20, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street, at the junction with Partizanų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Caravelle and a Solaris Urbino 12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
