On Thursday, 24 March 2022, in the morning at 9:39, in Vilnius, on Ateities street near No. 31B, at the junction with L. Giros street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Focus and a Toyota Corolla Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Ford (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
