On Tuesday, 5 April 2022, in the evening at 19:40, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr., at the junction with V. Krėvės pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Transit FT 150, a Toyota Avensis and a Renault VEL Satis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Ford (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
